UNITRONIX introduces Advanced XMC-Mezzanine Modules for MIL-STD-1553 applications. |
Unitronix introduces a powerful design XMC module for embedded MIL-STD-1553/ MIL-STD-1760D databus and weapons interface communications. All of the standard high performance MIL-STD-1553 functions/ features and high quality expected from AIM are included into the module design with one, two or four dual redundant streams on one card! Concurrent operation as Bus Controller, Multiple Remote Terminals (31), Chronological Bus Monitor and Mailbox Monitor is supported. Single function and Simulator only version are available with reduced functionality required by many embedded applications. The module also integrates eight general purpose Avionics level discrete signals and trigger I/O making it ideal for any avionics or weapons embedded application. |

The all new model AXC1553-1/2/4 also takes full advantage of the PCI Express bus handling data rates up to 2.5 Gb/s. To maximum performance and reliability a highly integrated design incorporates 128MB onboard RAM, a high speed FPGA with integrated PCI-Express interface as well as an integrated time code Microcontroller and two high performance RISC processors for the handling of the MIL-STD-1553 Bus Interfaces. This reduces the component count whilst improving the level of ruggedisation and MTBF performance. |
To meet demanding MIL-STD-1760D weapons applications, (which requires fast ready state initialisation) the AXC1553 boots from onboard flash achieving fast power up cycles without any need for host intervention. The powerful and industry standard PBA.pro™ Databus Test & Analysis Tool (for Windows & Linux) can also be used in combination with AXC1553-x cards. |
