Unitronix announces the Concurrent Technologies' AM 31x/x0x, one of the first AdvancedMC™ (AMC) high performance processor boards to benefit from the recently introduced 2nd generation Intel® Core™ processors. Customers of the AM 31x/x0x could experience greater than 150% CPU performance and potentially 250% increase in graphical performance over previous Intel® Core™ processor based AMC products.

The AM 31x/x0x AMC processor board is ideal for MicroTCA™ and AdvancedTCA® based telecommunications applications such as IPTV, digital media servers, media gateways, broadband – Long Term Evolution (LTE) or LTE-Advanced, wireless base stations, and in test systems for wireline and wireless networks. The AM 31x/x0x is also suitable for medical, automation, and security applications where fast data processing is a key requirement.

The AM 31x/x0x features a dedicated microcontroller providing the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) for PICMG® system management features. This Module Management Controller (MMC) provides an administrator with the ability to monitor, manage, diagnose, and recover systems. The AM 31x/x0x also supports full hot-swap capabilities for monitoring and controlling of the board.
