UNITRONIX introduces a 15" LCD 8U 10-slot rack mount workstation from Evoc |
Unitronix announce the EWS-844V an 8U all-in-one industrial rack-mount work-station suitable for control and automation environments. It features a 15" high-brightness LCD display with resolution of up to 1024 x 768. The VGA display can be removed independently, providing easy maintenance and usage. Power comes from a 250W standard industrial switching power supply with a 10-slot industrial backplane and 19" rack-mount chassis. For a backplane, this system supports the Evoc IPC-6110P4, a PICMG backplane with two PICMG 1.0 system slots, four ISA expansion slots as well as four PCI slots. Mainboard options include all series PICMIG 1.0 CPU cards such as the FSC-1711N Socket 478 PICMG full-size CPU Card with VGA/LAN and optional P4 2.0GHz CPU and 256MB DDR. |

The multi-function membrane keyboard with 10 function keys and 48 data entry keys is on the right side of the display and the touchpad is located below. The 19” rack mount chassis is constructed of high quality steel plate, with a 10mm thick all-alloy formed front panel. The I/O interface includes two USB ports on the front, one parallel port, two RS-232, one PS/2 interface, one 115kbps IrDA interface, one 10/100Mbps RJ-45. Drive bays are provided for a 3.5” hard disk, CD-ROM and 1.44MB FDD, all of which are available as integrated options. With an operating temperature in the range of 0ºC~+50ºC (storage -40ºC~+60ºC) and operating humidity of 5%~90%, 40⊥ non-condensing, this workstation is ideally suited to industrial automation and system control-room or monitoring applications. |
