UNITRONIX introduces the EVOC MCA-1001 Mobile Terminal |
Unitronix announce the MCA-1001 from Evoc. This mobile medical workstation is ideal for wireless hospital networks using various health-care information and patient record systems. Equipped with these mobile terminals on rounds, medical staffers are able to retrieve patients' medical records and issue investigative requests such as pathology and radiology, streamlining the process and reducing possibility of error. The information stored in the terminals is readily shared among medical staff, ensuring greater accuracy and consistency. |

With the MCA-1001, the user will be able to input, edit and calculate the workload of medical staff, retrieve patients' basic information, record and review nursing records, observations and so on. The operator can check results and reports on investigative procedures, radiology, ultra-sound, pathology and more, whilst potentially also being able to respond to inquiries about shift arrangement, track bedside specimen collection, identify patients and much more. Technical features of the MCA-1001 include 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth support, allowing it continuous access to high volume medical information on a real-time basis. Highly-efficient and accurate handwriting recognition allows the user to easily input medical record information, medication orders, notes and remarks, whilst the RFID and barcode scanning functions ensure minimal error rate in procedures such as drug dispensation, dialysis and blood transfusion. In addition, camera and voice recording functions of the product can help realise visualised management of clinical treatment process. Aesthetically, its ergonomic handheld design ensures easy operation, whilst its IP54 protection grade (water and dust resistance) ensures that cleaning and disinfection of the unit is easily achievable. |
