UNITRONIX introduces a Light Weight, Rugged Tablet PC with an Intel Atom Z530P CPU |
Unitronix announce the T7M, a light-weight (1.1Kg), yet extremely rugged tablet PC with an IP-65 rating and MIL-STD 810G certifications for drop, shock and vibration (1.2 metre / 4 feet drop). It contains a shock resistant LCD screen, magnesium alloy casing, and shock resistant HDD - ensuring that your data is protected at all times. In addition, this Tablet is equipped with modular I/O ports and designed with two hot swappable batteries (Lithium-Polymer) providing up to 8 hours of battery life. Interface is via a sunlight-readable resistive touch screen which allows for gloved-finger operations. It’s ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the LCD brightness for optimised visibility under all conditions. |

Connectivity features and options include integrated GPS, WWAN 3G module and RFID, while additional interfaces such as a backlit numeric keypad, 2MP integrated camera and a 1D/2D barcode scanner are also available - as well as a Digitiser which provides the ability to take handwritten notes, sketches etc. directly onto the screen. |
Equipped with a HDD heater, this Tablet is designed for wide temperature range operation (-20°C to 60°C), making it extremely versatile and suitable for operations in a wide variety of mining applications and environments. |
