All-Weather, All-Terrain LCD’s are waterproof ruggedised LCD displays which are fully submersible to NEMA 6 (IP67) standards. This XGA resolution display system is fully sunlight readable with 1950 nits LED driven backlight brightness and has enhancements to the optical stack for even greater picture clarity, uniformity and sunlight readability. The system has wide viewing angles and can operate throughout extensive operational temperatures (standard -20° to +70°C or optional -40°C to 70°C). The All-Weather model offers several mounting options including VESA, Panel, and RAM mount (details). The optional touch screen is a durable, 5-Wire, resistive touch screen. Features 10 different video connection configurations to better fit your harsh application needs. |

Marine Grade LCDs VarTech ruggedised marine grade LCD displays can withstand the most severe environments. VarTech incorporates many features unique to the marine marketplace: ECDIS, Radar, Remote Control, Video Buffer (Multi-Drop) and Auxiliary Power Relay Output. The PowerVue monitors offer continuity of design for all navigation and ship automation applications. These units are suitable for a wide variety of military and commercial shipping or avionics applications where low EMI and long-term vibration resilience is essential. Aircraft LCD Multi-Function Mission Displays Curtiss-Wright's SkyQuest products offer a wide range of multi-function rugged, high-bright, high-contrast sunlight readable LCD displays for fixed and rotary wing aircraft. These displays are designed for use with FLIR and long range daylight video cameras, moving maps, computers and RADAR. The current range extends from 4” to 20” units with leading edge functionality including multiple video and VGA inputs, picture-in-picture facility, video freeze frame and digital zoom, internal NVG filters (eliminating the need for external NVG filters). Also available, optional dedicated digital video input (DVI) and HD input for use with the latest high definition camera systems. All displays are capable of showing the entire active image area (under-scan) making them perfect for use with high-res FLIR cameras. Additional options include contrast enhancement modules, soft keys, touch screens and full remote control, and can adapt existing designs to deliver bespoke units for user specific applications. |

High Bright Sunlight LCDs VarTech Systems offer several sizes of LCD displays utilising a proprietary optically bonded process. This process can transform a 300 - 500 NITS display into a high bright display that can be viewed in most lighting conditions. The unique VBOND process seals either a top cover glass or touch screen directly to the face of the display bezel. This bonding process eliminates the air-gap between the display and the cover glass, vastly reducing reflective light which causes visual washout of the display image. VBOND also enhances structural integrity by supporting the LCD assembly with the cover glass. The bond maintains perfect display uniformity while providing shock protection, unlimited humidity protection, and elimination of fogging. |
