VarTech can supply Workstations and LCD's with Computers which come in different grades, depending on the environment they can operate within. These environments are divided into two classes, Class 1 and Class 2. Class 1 environments are where there is a presence of flammable gases or liquid vapours, this environment is then further divided into two divisions: Division 1 areas are where explosive or flammable materials exist in normal conditions and Division 2 areas are where explosive or flammable materials may exist in abnormal conditions. Class 2 areas contain the presence of ignitable metal, carbon or organic dusts. This class is also divided into two divisions: Division 1 areas are where ignitable materials exist under normal conditions and Division 2 areas are where ignitable materials may exist in abnormal conditions.
