PMC-285 Graphics Card: The PMC-285 fulfills a conceptually simple capability that has often required a complex and relatively costly solution based on a graphics-processing unit: it takes two video inputs and mixes one input with the other. Mixing or blending of the video is managed by colour keying or alpha-channel and is controlled via a simple software interface. The main features include: the capability to: mix, blend, scale and window RGB and DVI inputs into a single DVI output; to convert HD RGB analogue input to DVI output; and to use it as a 2x1 switch to select either RGB or DVI output. |
PMC-281 MPEG4 Video Compression: The PMC-281 provides real-time MPEG4 Part 10/H.264 compression of video channels up to resolutions of 1920x1080 pixels. It is ideal for video distribution and recording applications, where highcompression ratios allow multiple channels of high-definition video to be stored on disks and solid-state media and carried on digital networks. As a PMC-format mezzanine card, the PMC-281 brings high-performance video compression to a wide variety of system architectures including VPX, VME, CompactPCI (CPCI) and PCI Express® (PCIe). |

XMC-280 JPEG 2000 Video Compression: The XMC-280 provides real-time JPEG2000 compression of two video channels at resolutions up to 1920x1200 pixels at 60Hz. This state-of-the-art capability makes it ideal for high-definition video distribution and recording applications. JPEG2000 offers low latency, resilience against errors and a great balance of compression and quality. FPGA-based processing is required to implement the computationally intensive JPEG2000 algorithm in real-time and three performance grades of core provide the optimal balance of price and capability. |
XMC-710 rugged graphics card:
The XMC-710 is a VITA 42.3, PCI Express based XMC form factor, ruggedised, high-performance, dual output, graphics controller with video capture capability. The XMC-710 graphics controller is the first rugged Mil/Aero COTS XMC to make use of the industry leading NVIDIA G73M GPU. Combined with Curtiss-Wright’s extensive video capture and processing capabilities, user defined video modes and enhanced bandwidth of PCI Express, the XMC-710 has the features and flexibility to serve the most demanding graphics and video applications. |
