Sascal supply a selection of ultra-rugged displays, designed to endure the harsh environments of military, naval and industrial applications. The list at the top of the page are the main products Sascal supply. Sascal Displays' 17" Rugged Vehicle Display: This display is a 17" TFT Active Matrix LCD manufactured to operate within a vehicle. It's display resolution is SXGA 1280 x 1024, it has VGA input via a 15WHDD connector and the controls are front mounted. It is also highly ruggedised with an operating temperature of 0 to 60 degrees celcius and is constructed in an aluminium case with mounts to the rear and stainless steel fixtures. The display is Alacrom Plated and painted grey, although it is possible to have it painted to a different colour if required.  PDF Datasheet |
| Sascal Displays' 19" Rugged Vehicle Display: This display is a 19" TFT active matrix LCD with a typical contrast of 450:1. It's display resolution is SXGA 1280 x 1024, it has a VGA input via a 15WHDD connector and the controls can front or back mounted. This vehicle display is also ruggedised with an operational temperature of 0 to 50 degrees celcius and is constructed within an aluminium case with mounts to the rear, with stainless steel fixtures. Sascal Displays' 10.4" Rugged Avionics Display: This Avionics display is a 10.4" TFT active matrix LCD with a typical contrast of 700:1. The display resolution is a standard XGA and there are front mounted backlit bezel keys. It is constructed within an aluminium case rack mounted with Zsus fixings, with stainless steel fixtures, an EMC mesh 4mm front glass protection window and is alacrom plated and painted black. | Sascal Displays' 6.5" Gun-Mounted Rugged Display: This naval display is a 6.5" TFT active matrix LCD with a typical contrast of 600:1. It has a resolution of 640 x 480 VGA with buttons for power, brightness and OSD. With an operating temperature of -30 to 60 degrees celcius, MIL-STD-810F certifications for sand, dust and rain, and an IP67 rating, this display is highly ruggedised and ideal for naval applications. It also has a machined and welded aluminium case with mounts to the base, stainless steel fixtures and a 6mm EMC mesh front glass window to give it extra durability. PDF Datasheet |

Sascal Displays' 10.4" Rugged Naval Display: This naval display is a 10.4" TFT active matrix LCD with a typical contrast of 1200:1. The resolution is a standard XGA. There are 20 programmable bezel keys as well as buttons for power, brightness and contrast. It has an operational temperature of -25 to 60 degrees celcius and is IP64 rated with a 4mm EMC mesh front glass window. The display is held in a machined aluminium case with stainless steel fixtures and VESA mounts to the rear and side. Other options include a VGA input, Membrane options and functions, Inclinometer interface, GPS interface, MIL Can-Bus and Ethernet. PDF Datasheet |
| Sascal Displays' 12.1" Rugged Naval Display: This naval display is a 12.1" TFT active matrix LCD with a typical contrast of 600:1, a maximum pixel of 800 x 600 and a standard XGA resolution. It is held within an aluminium case with VESA mounts to the rear and side, stainless steel fixtures and front mounted programmable bezel buttons. There are a number of versions, cased or rack mountable, and these are fitted with bespoke control electronics, with options for video inputs, DC or AC power, and are used in Bridge or below deck environments as part of fire control systems. | Sascal Displays' 5.7" Rugged Training Display: The 5.7” display is currently used in the UK and Germany for Driver Night Vision. These offer the same HMI as the real products, thus being ideal for training and offer a real time product at a reduced cost. They are fitted with current COTS technology and are supportable ongoing. The display is a TFT active matrix LCD with a VGA resolution of 640 x 480. It is operational from 0 to 60 degrees celcius, with machined aluminium casing and has stainless steel fixtures.
